Introduced in 1997, MONSTER belts quickly became the preferred choice for floor sanding professionals. Why? Simple. The heavier "monster-weight" backing allows for longer belt life and fewer belt changes. The sharp industrial mineral grain provides faster, more consistent cutting. And finally, the precision tape splice eliminates chatter. The result is a revolutionary floor sanding belt designed to be the best in performance and value. In 2001, 24 grit was added to the MONSTER belt line.
Also in 2001, the MONSTER family expanded with the addition of MONSTER rolls and edger discs. Each grit is engineered specifically to do its job, with the coarse grits designed for speedy removal of heavy finish build-up and the finer grits for a smooth finish and longer life. The MONSTER bonding system is heat resistant and reduces dust build up. Finally the MONSTER super-sharp engineered minerals provide a faster and a longer lasting rate of cut.
